Absolutely spectacular! The staff is so welcoming, kind and knowledgeable without being cloying. Then variety of beers is terrific and some delicious wines. The real highlight was the food - just WOW. Delicious! Perfect balance. Highly recommend. Order everything on the menu!
Delicious food which cooked professionally and presentations was also amazing! Atmosphere was very delightful with lovely touches of wood and dim lighting. Wine was very good and Amy our lovely young waitress was very nice
Update: updating this review to five stars, after returning several months later, I was not charged for a side of mayo, and staff even remembered this review and joked about it during our dinner - much to the dismay of some of my coworkers present, embarrassed by me Loved feeling like they listened to customer feedback. As I said before, will gladly return again. Delicious and excellent service. ——— The drinks were delicious and the burger was quite tasty, cooked well and juicy with a fresh soft bun. The whole group enjoyed the food and their drinks. We liked the atmosphere and the service was timely. Food and drink prices were reasonable for the quality and the times we live in. That said, I requested a side of mayonnaise with my burger/fries. They charged 3.50 for a small dipping cup of mayo, which is highway robbery!! They never mentioned it would cost extra, and even so, how can you possibly justify the price? Management should consider reviewing this price in their system or stop charging entirely, it’s unreasonable. Will definitely come back, but with packets of sauce in my pocket next time, lol!
Cute vibe for drinks and dinner if you’re catching up with a friend or going on a date! The fries were very salty which is why I docked a star. I asked for a remake of the fries and the second batch was just as salty. Maybe ask for light salt!
Nothing short of amazing. Been there a couple of times right before a show with not a lot of time to spare and the food and service has always been top notch. Gem of a place!
Fantastic food, friendly staff, great ambiance, and absolutely delicious cocktails! William treated us like old friends (even though it was only our second time there) and made us feel so welcome. Needless to say, the service here is unlike any other bar I've been too. Great staff through and through. Hugo's cocktails are also incredibly noteworthy. We've been to some great cocktail bars across the city, but his drinks are top shelf! The Princess Peach Special is one of the best I've had, the Jahannam Jam is perfection, as are his classic Margheritas! They have gained two new regulars for sure!
I have been coming to Pamplemousse for several years and I always love it! Great atmosphere, big (dog friendly) terrace in the summer, really nice and professional staff, fun drinks and great food! One of my favorite places to get food while I'm having a drink. Their menu has changed a lot over the years and still changes, but it's always good. I don't think they had their pizzas last time I was there but those were always delicious. The carrots are also really nice. It can be a bit busy sometimes in peak summer, evening time but it's worth it if you can get a seat. A little pricey but it's place des arts so it's mostly on par with the area.
Haven’t even left the table yet and needed to leave a review. If you’re not trying this place out while you’re in Montreal, then you are missing out. The cocktails and the beer are fantastic. The menu is perfectly curated and the flavors are truly impeccable. The burger, falafel, cucumber salad and homemade bread were insanely delicious and seasoned with perfection. You can tell they care about using quality ingredients here. And they have outdoor patio seating! More importantly, the staff are exceptionally kind and courteous, something you can’t say for many food establishments in this city.
